At our ECLF re-launch meeting in February, there was a clear vote to focus 2024 on the impact of AI on L&D and on organizations at large. We started our deep-dive into the issue with a series of virtual conversations which now culminate in our annual in-person ECLF meeting which takes place in Berlin, kindly hosted by Siemens Energy.
The topic has two main angles. For one, AI transforms the L&D function itself by enabling personalized learning, automating operations, and providing data-driven insights. In turn, L&D is also tasked with helping organizations to leverage AI in the various domains they serve.
For L&D, this means a balancing act between these two perspectives. How can we embrace the transformational potential of AI on our own operations while also acting as a trusted champion that spearheads the AI literacy upskilling of the whole company and, perhaps, it’s immediate ecosystem members?
As always, we will tackle all this with our traditional mix of member-driven analytical deep-dive and peer-sharing of experiences and perspectives.
